Augustus Preston, we are told that he vanished in the late 1890's or early 1900's in Southwest
Mo. or Northwest Arkansas. The story was that Augustus had a freight company, out of Springfield,
and was moving some one to Harrison, Ar. and never returned. After he disappeared, his wife, Elizabeth moved
to Arnold, Nebraska.
