Henry became a fierce Indian fighter after the death of his mother at their hands.
He was involved in many Indian battles and was given the name "Big Creek" by the Indians.
He is refered to in an unpublished manuscript, Indian Atrocities Along the Clinch, Powell and Holston Rivers.
Henry Marrs is the oldest son of Samuel and he stayed in Tazewell County, VA
when his father Samuel and most of the rest of the family moved to KY in 1793 and operated the family mill.
